New Zealand sculptor interviews

The files below are talks I recorded with nine New Zealand Sculptors during a project undertaken in 2014 - they are unedited. If you would like a digital copy of the transcript of any of these talks, please email me and I will send a Word file to you.

At the time of this research, I was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Art and Design, Auckland University of Technology. The focus of our discussions was about materiality, making, and creative process. Highlights for me included hearing about serendipitous and chance moments / events that changed the directions of their practice. There are many candid comments about personal interactions with media and how their learning as sculptors was influenced.

My sincere thanks to Greer, Ben, Bing, Christine, Elizabeth, Hannah, Martin, Paul and Grant, for their huge generosity in sharing their time and rich experience.
